    Managing water schemes such as Masinga–Kitui, Matinyani, Mutune, Ithookwe, Mbooni, and Ikanga-Mutomo water supplies.

  • New Water Connections

    Installing new customer water connections and expanding the distribution network.

  • Water Treatment and Quality Control

    Treating raw water from sources like Masinga Dam to make it safe for use.

  • Sanitation Services

    Providing sanitation-related services as part of its mandate under the Water Act 2016, although sewerage coverage is still limited.

  • Customer Care and Billing Services

    Handling customer accounts, billing, payments, complaints and service support.

  • Water Bowser Services

    Supplying water using bowsers/trucks to areas outside the piped network or during shortages.

  • Water Rationing and Supply Management

    Managing water distribution schedules during droughts or low water levels.

  • Exhauster Services

    We offer exhauster services for emptying septic tanks and managing sewage waste in Kitui and surrounding areas. The service helps homes, schools, businesses and institutions safely dispose of waste from septic tanks and pit latrines.

    KITWASCO mainly focuses on water supply and sanitation services, but it also provides technical and operational support in areas related to water management. These includes services like
